Sorsogon State College:Where Knowledge is Power

The Sorsogon State College (SSC) is the former Sorsogon College of Arts and Trades (SCAT), one of the oldest trade school in the Philippines. It was established as Sorsogon Trade school in 1907 before it was renamed Sorsogon College of Arts and Trades. After 86 years of existence, the school was converted into a state college by virtue of Republic Act No. 7666, which was approved in December 31, 1993 by President Fidel V. Ramos. The main campus is located at Magsaysay Street, Sorsogon City.

Sorsogon State College Bulan Campus is located at Zone 8, Bulan, Province of Sorsogon, Region V, Philippines.

It is former a Bulan Vocational High School then converted to Sorsogon State College - Institute of Management and Information Technology then afterward renamed to Sorsogon State College Bulan Campus.
